So it's safe to assume that this is some kind of driver and/or Windows issue. This is disappointing from a brand new monitor and Windows 10 though. I think the major problem is that I don't have a 'HID-compliant touch screen' option in 'Human Interface Devices' in Device Manager. Click on the link below to download the appropriate driver for the Acer LCD Monitor AL1751.
